The Baruch Ivcher School of Psychology was founded on the principles of innovation and excellence and has, since its inauguration, offered a unique curriculum based on exposure to new disciplines, such as positive, organizational, political, social, business and internet psychology. According to the school’s Founding Dean, Prof. Mario Mikulincer, the school aims to give students the best possible training to enable them to become leaders in the field of psychology in Israel and worldwide.

The school’s curriculum reflects the importance of psychology as an instrument for improving Israeli society, which is also the spirit by which its labs and research centers operate.
The school encourages the students to promote projects in the community, and

its research centers focus on the welfare of society.

These include the Maytiv Center for Research and Practice in Positive Psychology; the Sagol Center for Applied Neuroscience; the Institute for LD and ADHD; the MUDA Center for Science, Mindfulness and Society; the Ziama Arkin Parent and Infant Relations (PAIR) Institute, and more.

Prof. Dan Zakay serves as Dean of the School.
