The Adelson School of Entrepreneurship - From Initiative to Reality

Approximately two years after the announcement of the establishment of the Adelson School of Entrepreneurship, the first school of entrepreneurship in Israel, the school’s building was inaugurated in the presence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Dr. Miriam and Sheldon G. Adelson, Prof. Uriel Reichman, faculty and students.

 

The innovative design of the building express the spirit of innovation and modern thinking that stands at the center of the school's philosophy.

In light of the tremendous momentum and high demand for entrepreneurship studies at IDC Herzliya, in early 2016 IDC announced the launch of IDCBeyond, the IDC President's entrepreneurship program.

 

IDCBeyond focuses on establishing groundbreaking initiatives to deal with the challenges of the 21st century. Participants of the program are people who have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and who are motivated to make a global impact.

Reichman University - The Most International Institution In Israel - Strengthening the Connection with the Diaspora

In 2016, a special report was published by the Council for Higher Education stating that "IDC is the most international institution in Israel and also has the largest number of international students studying for full degrees." The Raphael Recanati International School was established in 2001 in order to nurture a generation of young leaders abroad and to deepen the connection between Israel and the Diaspora, and today a third of IDC Herzliya students study within the RRIS.

 

In 2016 IDC was once again ranked in first place in the student satisfaction survey conducted by the National Union of Israeli Students by thousands of students from institutions of higher education in Israel.
