Joey Low

In the 25th year of IDC Herzliya (Reichman University), we sat down with our partners to hear from them how it all began.

"The first feeling that came to me when I arrived at IDC Herzliya is that this is what it means to be Jewish. The State of Israel was founded in order to serve as a light unto the nations, and IDC has made a significant contribution to the country's development, in that sense."

Joey Low is an avid Zionist who works to improve Israel's image throughout the world. Low founded the Israel at Heart program at IDC (Reichman University), which awards scholarships annually to promising students from the Israeli-Ethiopian community. This ensures the nurturing of a new generation of young leaders from this community. Low also undertook responsibility of helping African asylum seekers studying at IDC Herzliya (Reichman University).
