The Human-Computer Interaction Revolution

Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and User Experience (UX) are leading aspects of every technological product, including web and mobile services, robots and personal assistants, VR/AR (Virtual Reality / Augmented Reality) experiences, and even biotechnology and fabrication. The mission of IDC’s Media Innovation Lab (milab) is to explore the intersections of technology, psychology, and design, with the objective of creating innovative HCI experiences and technologies. This talks describes the HCI field and how CS students can join the milab in their 3rd year of studies.
