Clinical Language Understanding

The health industry (doctors, hospitals, insurance companies) uses a “clinical language” to describe medical cases, patients status, and procedures. The Nym company specializes in analyzing, structuring, and optimizing clinical languages. The Nym NLP (Natural Language Processing) engine processes more than a million medical cases per year, handles medical data which is notoriously noisy, and makes medical decisions in an environment with very little tolerance for error. This talk will describe how Nym started from a proof of concept and proceeded to working with world-leading medical institutions around the world.
