Ms. Ayala Partush

Tiomkin School of Economics

  • Ayala Partush is a researcher at the Center for Economic Policy of the Arab Society in Israel, at the Aaron Institute for Economic Policy, Reichman University. She is an economist specializing in labor, human capital, and macroeconomic processes. Through her academic and applied research, she seeks to understand how long-term economic variables, such as inflation, employment rates, and investments in human capital, shape Israel’s economy and society, with particular implications for the Arab community.
Ayala earned her M.A. in Economics from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 2020, graduating with distinction. Her thesis examined inflation in Israel between 2000 and 2020, analyzing the combined effects of domestic and external factors such as monetary policy, globalization, and economic crises on local price dynamics. This work demonstrated her ability to integrate advanced econometric tools with macroeconomic theory to produce insights of practical relevance for policymakers.
Alongside her research, Ayala serves as a teaching assistant in undergraduate macroeconomics courses at Reichman University. In this role, she introduces students to foundational concepts in economic theory, guides them in empirical model analysis, and contributes to the training of a new generation of economists and researchers.
Before joining the Aaron Institute, Ayala worked in the private sector as an analyst in a financial and economic consulting firm. There, she developed financial models, conducted market analyses, and provided strategic recommendations for institutional and business clients. This professional experience gave her a strong understanding of the interface between economic theory and its real-world applications in labor markets and financial systems.
Ayala brings a unique combination of academic rigor, analytical skills, and applied expertise. She views her work as a tool for producing new knowledge that can help reduce socio-economic disparities, strengthen human capital in Israel, and empower the Arab society through innovative economic policy design and implementation.
