Prof. Amir Barnea | Reichman University

Barnea joined IDC in 1994 as member of its Academic Board. He became Dean of the IDC Business School in 1996. His main area of specialization is corporate finance. His academic record includes many articles in top journals of finance, and a book on "Agency Problems and Financial Contracting" (Prentice-Hall, 1975). Barnea’s academic appointments include Professor of Finance at Tel University and at Rice University (Houston, Texas). He served as visiting professor in several leading US universities. His professional activities include a board membership in the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, participation in numerous public committees, and a partnership position in the Singer-Barnea Investment House.
