Senior Lecturer, Sammy Ofer School of Communications, IDC Herzliya
Dr. Béatrice Hasler Lev-Tov received her PhD in Psychology from the University of Zurich. Her research lies in the intersection of psychology and technology. She specializes in virtual reality and avatar technologies and investigates the psychological impact of immersive virtual reality experiences. She is particularly interested in exploring how virtual reality can be used as a new method for conflict resolution. Prior to her current position, she was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in the Experimental Virtual Environments Lab for Neuroscience and Technology at the University of Barcelona and in the Advanced Reality Lab at IDC Herzliya. Her Post-Doctoral research has been funded by an Intra-European Marie Curie Fellowship from the European Union and two fellowships from the Swiss National Science Foundation.
