Noy Naaman is an Assistant Professor at Reichman University's Harry Radzyner Law School. He holds an S.J.D. from the University of Toronto, an LL.M. from Columbia University (Harlan Fiske Stone), and an LL.B. from Tel Aviv University (magna cum laude). Before joining Reichman University, Dr. Naaman completed postdoctoral fellowships at Yale Law School, UC Berkeley School of Law, and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Minerva Center for Human Rights, Child and Youth Rights Program). He also served as a Visiting Professor at Western Law in Canada.
Dr. Naaman’s research focuses on the intersections of family law and children’s rights, bioethics and critical legal theory. His work has been published in leading journals, including Washington University Law Review, Yale Journal of Law & the Humanities, American Journal of Comparative Law, and Harvard Journal of Law & Gender, and has been cited in several landmark decisions of the Israeli Supreme Court. His research has been recognized with numerous competitive fellowships and awards, including the Human Rights Fellowship (Columbia Law School), Ontario Trillium Scholarship, Connaught International Scholarship (Canada), Fulbright Israel Postdoctoral Fellowship, Israel Science Foundation (ISF) Postdoctoral Fellowship, ICON Prize for Outstanding Paper in Public Law, Sarah Weddington Writing Prize, and a research fellowship from the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Crime, Security and Law.
