  • Tamar Almor is a Full Professor at the Adelson School of Entrepreneurship, Reichman University. She holds a Ph.D. in International Business from Tel Aviv University and is fluent in Hebrew, English, and Dutch. Her academic career spans institutions in Israel, Singapore, Finland, Norway, and the Netherlands. Professor Almor currently serves as the Acting Dean of the Adelson School of Entrepreneurship at Reichman University. Previously she served as Dean of Business at the College of Management, where she established academic divisions, developed graduate-level programs, and introduced innovative curricula. Her research—internationally recognized and award-winning—examines the internationalization strategies and behavioral patterns of small, entrepreneurial Israeli firms and high-tech ventures. She is an active researcher who has published extensively in leading academic journals such as Long Range Planning, the Journal of Organizational Behavior, International Business Review, Management International Review, and is cited frequently. Her studies focus on growth strategies and business models of international startups and scaleups as well as processes of innovation in large companies. In addition, she studies the role of gender and culture in entrepreneurship and innovation. Her scholarly contributions are complemented by extensive industry engagement, including consulting for leading firms and advising start-ups on global expansion strategies. In 2021, she was elected life-long Fellow of the European International Business Academy (EIBA), in recognition of her significant contributions to the field of International Business. She serves on the Editorial Boards of several peer-reviewed journals, has chaired and organized international academic conferences, and is frequently invited to deliver keynote addresses at major scholarly events. Currently she serves as the Editor-in-Chief of EIBA Perspectives.
