She joined the school of computer science at the Interdisciplinary Center, Herzliya in 1999. She received a B.Sc in mathematics and computer scoence from the Hebrew University (1984). She recieved her M.Sc and a Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science at the Weizmann Instisute of Science, Rehovot (1994). During the years 1993-1994 she was a Post-doctoral fellow, at the Robotics group of Oxford University. From 1997-1998 she was a post-doctoral fellow at the Weizmann Institute of Science. She spent a sabbaticals in Sydney at NICTA and UNSW (2004-2007) and in Berkeley University and Columbia University (2013).
Her main research interest include computer vision, and applications of computer vision to multimedia systems. In particular, her research focus on multi-camera systems such as surveillance cameras or a set of cellphones cameras that capture an event or locations of interest.
