Yair Scher is an adjunct professor at the Arison school of business since 2012 and focuses on sports marketing. Mr. Scher main fields are commercial and media rights of sports events together with digital sports marketing.
Yair Scher is a magna cum laude graduate of Tel Aviv University and a postgraduate of the FIFA MASTER program, the prestigious international sports management master organized by the International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) and endorsed by FIFA.
Currently, Yair Scher is marketing director at EVENTO, a sports and technology firm working with sports teams worldwide. Previously he was marketing director for 4 years at SPORTFIVE's Israeli office, managing TV rights distribution and the Israel Football Association's sponsorship rights.
Yair Scher is one of the founders of "Football-State", Israel's largest amateur football organization, and executive committee member of the European MiniFootball Federation.
