Copyright and Fair Use of Electronic Resources
The use of all databases and all publications in the library, whether physical publications such as journals and books in the University's library, whether electronic publications, whether access to databases (collectively: University Resources), requires users to respect the copyrights of the authors, publishers and suppliers; Reichman University's regulations and policies; and Publisher's policies as they appear in the online databases or the physical publications, as applicable.
University Resources are intended and permitted to be accessed by Reichman University's students and faculty for academic purposes only, such as studying, researching, and teaching.
If a University Resource will be used for any other purposes than those outlined above, or if a University Resources will be used in a manner that might infringe the rights of third parties or if a University Resources will be used in a manner that is contrary to the rules stated in for advertisers as stated the online databases or the physical publications (as applicable), Reichman University may exercise any legal means at its discretion, including, but not limited to, internal disciplinary proceedings.
To avoid any doubt, it is hereby clarified that University Resources as defined above (including passwords to University Resources) may not be distributed to third parties who are not students or faculty members of Reichman University without prior written consent from the appropriate entity.
