Full Access to Electronic Books in Scopus

The book package will be fully available from December 1, 2025, to February 28, 2026.

From December 1, 2025, to February 28, 2026, full access to the electronic books package in Scopus will be available.

 

 

The package includes a wide collection of academic books, monographs, and edited volumes in various study fields. Online access is available for academic staff and students.

 


The Scopus database currently includes over 292,000 book titles, with approximately 20,000 added yearly. The books are indexed at the book and chapter level, significantly increasing the breadth and depth of coverage for users in book-centered fields like the social sciences and the humanities. The collection focuses on social sciences, arts, and humanities, but also includes science, technology, and medicine.

 


Books are selected by the database curators, based on the reputation of the book publisher, the size and scope of the collection, availability, and content quality.

 

The books included in Scopus come from leading academic publishers such as Springer, Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Press, Princeton University Press, Palgrave Macmillan, Walter de Gruyter, Brill, and others.
