Accessibility in the library is a vital commitment that ensures all individuals, including those with disabilities, can fully engage with resources and services.

We implore all visitors to respect these reserved spaces, as they are intended solely for those in genuine need.

At our lending counter, we have implemented a state-of-the-art desktop audio system known as "Inspiration Loops". This remarkable technology serves to filter and neutralise ambient noise and extraneous voices, thereby allowing our patrons to focus exclusively on the discourse with the service provider before them.

The library features an accessible service station situated in the information room, conveniently located behind the lending desk and clearly marked with the accessibility symbol. This station is equipped with a specially adapted table designed to offer assistance to individuals with physical disabilities or those who utilize wheelchairs.
The library boasts a state-of-the-art Text Magnification System (TMS) that enhances accessibility for all patrons. This sophisticated system allows users to effortlessly enlarge printed texts, customize contrast and brightness settings to their individual preferences, and utilize text-to-speech functionality for on-screen material.

Committed to making information accessible, the library has invested in cutting-edge technological solutions, including a dedicated computer station equipped with specialized software for converting scanned documents into editable WORD format, along with advanced text editing and personalization capabilities. Additionally, high-performance magnification software aids in improving the readability of digital content.

For the convenience of our patrons, an elevator providing access to the second floor is located in close proximity to the library director's office.
