The library is running a pilot in which online access to various electronic reading books in Hebrew is offered: prose, poetry, popular science, culture, self-help, self-improvement, and more. You are welcome to access them from anywhere, and enjoy new realms of knowledge, learning, imagination, and recreation.
 

 


Ivrit- Ivrit is an online platform providing access to countless electronic reading books in Hebrew. Concentrating on recreative reading books, the website catalogues prose from Hebrew writers and translated works, suspense, romance, science fiction, and biographies, as well as popular science, culture, and history, and much more. Many recently published books are available; there are books for adults, children, and teens, and many books are also available as audio files.

 


In order to access books, it is necessary to retrieve a purchase code from the library.

 

To receive a code, please contact the library helpdesk at the library, by phone (09-952-7370), by email (RUlibrary@runi.ac.il), or by WhatsApp (054-9656624).

 

Please provide your ID number and the name of the book you wish to acquire when contacting the library in order to receive a code. The library staff will need to verify the book's availability before being able to release a code. 

 

Code retrieval is available Sunday-Thursday, 8:00-16:00, and on Friday, 8:00-13:00.

Libby- a library of e‑books in English, accessible through your computer browser or via a mobile app. You can choose from a wide collection of books from various genres, including bestsellers, and read them from anywhere.

 


To access the Libby database, click here and follow the authentication process, which includes selecting Reichman University from a list of institutions and entering your university username and password.

You can also download the Libby app through the app store, and access Reichman University's collection by a similar process: choose Reichman University in the list of institutes, and enter your university credentials. 

 

 

 

Psik- a database of online books in Hebrew, containing both educational and scholarly books in varied fields of study—such as history, philosophy, Jewish studies, psychology, political science, and more—as well as reading books—such as high literature, poetry, fiction, biographies, and more.

 

The books are published by great and small Israeli publication houses, such as Yediot Sfarim, Resling, HaKibutz Hameuchad, Am Oved, and more.

 


The Psik database can be accessed through My RUNI → Electronic Resources → Databases beginning with P.

 

 

 

Community Library- In addition, we invite you to visit our community library, where you can borrow or take fiction books in English or Hebrew free of charge.
