Research and Knowledge development

Research and knowledge development in the field of ESG is essential both for the business sector, for regulators and the general public to understand the consequences of applying environmental, social and corporate governance considerations on the business performance of companies. Research and knowledge development is crucial in order to examine how innovation and new technologies can improve environmental and social performance , in order to understand how the risks related to ESG, such as climate change, social inequality or improper corporate governance affect the financial stability of companies, in order to gain insights into the degree of adoption of standards and regulations and their impact on company performance, etc. The Arison Center for ESG supports theoretical and applied research in areas related to the interface between environment, society and corporate governance and the business sector by initiating  and undertaking research and issuing position papers.
