Yair Avidan is a seasoned senior manager and corporate director with extensive expertise in banking, finance, regulation, governance, and public service. He served as the Supervisor of Banks at the Bank of Israel, and served and continues to serve as a director in a very large number of financial companies and banks. He possesses a deep understanding of the interplay between the public and private sectors, integrating social and ethical considerations within the economic sphere, including environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors. Serving on the boards of business corporations and actively involved in social organizations, Yair is dedicated to bridging the gap between the business and social sectors, promoting responsible and sustainable practices grounded in strong values. As a senior research fellow, he will contribute his diverse expertise to the institute's research and analysis, exploring the intersection of finance, economics, policy, public service, and their impact on society, with a focus on values-driven solutions.
