Who We Are
The Maytiv Center - Bridging Academic Research and Everyday Life
The Maytiv Center for the Study of Positive Psychology was founded in 2010 at Reichman University, with the goal of leading social change through the promotion of psychological well-being and resilience in the community. We operate from a deep belief in the human capacity to grow and flourish even in the face of complex challenges. By applying accessible, research-based tools, we develop large-scale intervention programs in the education system, organizations, and communities in order to make positive psychology a driving force in Israeli society.
The Center was founded by Dr. Tal Ben-Shahar, Prof. Ariel Kor, Prof. Anat Shoshani, and Prof. Mario Mikulincer.
