Sammy Ofer School of Communication offers special programs that allow students unique opportunities, alongside their studies.
The CommPass Program is a unique academic–practical program at the Sammy Ofer School of Communications. It enables undergraduate students to complete a full-semester internship with leading communications, media, and digital companies in Israel.
AudioVersity is a college radio station operated by students and staff from RU with conjunction and under the supervision of senior professionals from the communication industry.
The media innovation lab (miLAB) explores the future of media and technology, through collaborative creative processes, characterization of development and design of innovative user experiences that incorporate media and technology to provide solutions to human needs.

The Argov Fellows Program in Leadership and Diplomacy acquire the knowledge, skills and tools necessary to work towards meeting challenges that Israel faces in today’s complex global environment.

We designed the "CO-OP Startup Experience Course" to offer students a unique opportunity to join a start-up and experience entrepreneurship first-hand, while still at school The "CO-OP Startup Experience Course" is an academic course (3 interdisciplinary credits) that allows students to intern in a real company for 10 weeks. Students are involved in real hands-on projects and improve their skills, knowledge and experience via "learning-by-doing"
The "Upstart" venture creation program is a 1 year program for students in their 3rd year from all faculties. The program enables students to gain practical tools and skills alongside academic knowledge in entrepreneurship. Students work throughout the year in interdisciplinary teams, accompanied by industry mentors,to create ventures and compete on the chance to work with an accelerator.
