MASA

Masa Academic Fellows are international young adults between the ages of 18-35 coming to study in Israel to improve their education, grow a strong network, and advance their futures. Study abroad for a semester or more in one of Israel’s elite university’s undergraduate or graduate programs.

Masa Academic Fellows are offered generous grants and scholarships towards their studies in Israel, as well as opportunities to be part of the greater Masa community. Join workshops, leadership training seminars, Masa mega-events, and more throughout your experience!

Studying abroad at an Israeli university will help you develop skills and give you exposure to real-life experiences that a classroom setting simply cannot provide. Take courses you would never have the opportunity to take at your home campus and enhance your degree and future career.

Your experience living and studying in Israel, immersing yourself in a foreign culture, and acquiring another language will set you apart and provide you with tools and connections that will last a lifetime.

Please note, Masa is an independent initiative and therefore its criteria for evaluating scholarship requests may differ from those used to evaluate requests for the Raphael Recanati International School scholarships. Visit the Masa website for more information  www.masaisrael.org

Important:

  • The Masa grant is dependent on your country of origin, age, and program of study. (There is an option to request additional, needs-based funding).
  • You first need to be admitted to the university. You cannot apply to Masa before being accepted to a program at Reichman University.
  • You will be requested to do 30 hours of volunteering service at an organization from a list we will provide you.
  • The Masa grant is only for the first year of studies on which you cannot leave Israel for more than 30 business days.
  • You are not allowed to get a work permit/work visa while receiving Masa funding.
  • The Masa grant will stop if the student makes Aliyah and starts receiving financial aid from the government as a new immigrant.
