Extracurricular Activities

As an educational institution, Reichman University emphasizes the values of freedom to act, taking initiative within the community, and striving for excellence. Our institution encourages students not only to pursue their studies, but to also broaden their interest in a variety of areas. We offer a multitude of community service projects for students to participate in. Here, it is our belief that contributing to society and assisting others now, will nurture our students to become responsible and caring community leaders in the future. In addition, Reichman University offers a variety of social activities to enrich our students' lives to ensure that they are prepared and qualified for their future endeavors.

  • Campus Life


    The Raphael Recanati International School organizes a wide variety of social and, cultural activities for all the students on campus.

  • ACT IL


    A venture of the Israeli American Council (IAC) and Reichman University, based on Reichman University’s “Situation Room” founded during Operations “Pillar of defense” (2012) and “Protective Edge” (2014).

  • Ambassador’s Club


    Training on topics such as public diplomacy techniques, making presentations to the public, conveying the message, planning and managing projects, Palestinian society and more.

  • The Debate Club


    The Debate Club is heavily competitive and continues to fly to different destinations around Europe to compete on the international stage representing Israel and the RRIS.

    Students are offered the opportunity to participate in a wide range of sports activities.

    Reichman University awards academic credits for significant periods of active reserve duty.

    Students from all schools at Reichman University, along with alumni and faculty, can learn to produce, edit and host their own podcasts or radio shows.

    The Pride Club creates a safe space for LGBTQ+ students and their allies to share what's on their minds, especially in regard to issues.

  • AEPi Reichman University


    AEPi Reichman University is a chapter of the international Jewish Fraternity, Alpha Epsilon Pi established in 1913 at NYU. We also have chapters in the US, Canada, the UK, Vienna (Austria), and Sydney (Australia).

    Allows students to actively pursue and develop their passions for rhetoric, politics, negotiation, critical thinking, teamwork, leadership, and conflict resolution, while building lasting connections.

  • JLIC


    JLIC works closely with the RRIS Campus Life staff to coordinate Shabbat meals on campus, Jewish holiday programs and weekly LunchNLearns with pizza, drinks and Torah learning.

  • Investment Group Israel


    Investment Group Israel (IGI) is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to educate students on and connect students to investments and financial education.

  • Reichman University Dance Company


    The group have participated in several performances on and off campus including international representation abroad.

  • Writing Center


    The Writing Center provides Reichman University students with free-of-charge individual sessions to help them with all aspects of writing in English.

  • RUEC FoodTech Nation


    During the program we will get to know the traditional food system in the face of future trends, we will expose the challenges we face today and we will get to know key people and entrepreneurs in the industry.

    The initiative cooperates with foreign embassies in Israel, international organizations and the Israeli Foreign Ministry.
