Undergraduate Programs in Sustainability

The double-major BA degree program in Sustainability, aims to provide students with a broad perspective and the tools for striking the required balance between development needs, efficient management of resources and social needs.

This is the first program of its kind in Israel and it is based on the top U.S. academic programs in the field, with adjustments relevant to the local aspects that are unique to Israel. The program will train future decision makers in the fields of government and economics, offering the program's graduates an advantage in a wide range of professional areas involving issues of sustainability.

 

The program spans three (3) years of studies and combines two majors – Sustainability and Economics or Sustainability and Government.


​We offer two B.A. Programs in Sustainability:

 

 

  • Double Major in Government & Sustainability
    A three-year double major BA in Sustainability & Government. The program based on the significant changes that have occurred in recent years in the Israeli and global environment, the economy and society. The program teaches aspects of policy and decision making that balances environmental, social and economic issues within the international arena, with a deep understanding of national security considerations along with environmental, economic and social aspects.
  • ​Double Major in Economics & Sustainability (Hebrew only)
    A three-year program of study for a double-major BA in Sustainability, accredited by Israel’s Council of Higher Education. The program will train future decision makers in the fields of economics, offering the program's graduates an advantage in a wide range of professional areas involving issues of sustainability.
