Reichman University provides assistance to students with physical, sensory, or chronic medical conditions that have a significant impact on their academic functioning in coursework and examinations.
Processing of the request for accommodations will only begin after acceptance and realization of registration (for preparatory school, admission course, studies, etc.).
Accommodations are granted only based on the expert opinion of a specialist physician.
The application must be read and completed in accordance with the detailed instructions provided in the Accommodation Request Form.
Documentation will be accepted in Hebrew or English only.
Applications will be processed only after the form is fully completed and all required documentation has been submitted as instructed.

• Applications for accommodations on medical grounds must be submitted by the first day of the academic year, and, during the year, by the first day of each semester.
• Applications from new students will be reviewed close to the start of the academic year, after the admissions and enrollment processes have been completed.
• The Accessibility Center makes every effort to provide a professional and timely response to all students who apply for its services. However, the Center cannot guarantee a response to applications that are submitted late.
• Late submissions: Students who miss the deadline for requesting accommodations may apply during the year. These applications (including any appeals) will be processed subject to university’s constraints.
• Students with physical, mental, sensory or cognitive disabilities, as well as students dealing with temporary or permanent medical conditions that impact their academic functioning
• Students with disabilities who also have learning disabilities and/or attention deficit disorders must additionally submit a separate request for accommodations related to these conditions through the Psychological Counseling Services, via this link >>
Students who have received provisional accommodations for a preparatory program or screening course must submit a new Request for Personal Accessibility Accommodations in Coursework and Examinations form, as detailed on this page, in order for their request to be evaluated for the duration of their academic studies.
You can submit the form via the Candidate Information Station or through MY RUNI:
1. Through the Information Station:
A. Select the “Forms” menu.
B. Select “Scholarships and Accommodations.”
C. The option to fill out an online form will appear, titled: “Request for Personal Accessibility Accommodations in Coursework and Examinations.”
D. Click on “Complete the form.”
E. Be sure to read the instructions page at the top of the form and attach the required medical documentation.
F. When you have finished filling out the form, click “Submit.”
G. Ensure that you receive confirmation that your form has been successfully submitted.
2. Through My RUNI:
A. Select the “Accessibility and Accommodations” icon.
B. The option to fill out an online form will appear, titled: “Request for Personal Accessibility Accommodations in Coursework and Examinations.”
C. Click on “Complete the form.”
D. Be sure to read the instructions page at the top of the form and attach the required medical documentation.
E. When you have finished filling out the form, click “Submit.”

Information on accommodations for students with learning disabilities/attention deficit disorders can be found on the Reichman University Psychological Counseling Services website.
Appeals regarding decisions on accommodations will be reviewed by an appeals committee acting on behalf of the university. The committee members include a representative from the Dean of Student Affairs Office, a representative from the Accessibility Center, and an additional university representative.
Students may appeal a decision on accommodations within 15 days of the date the decision was sent to their Reichman University email address. Appeals must be well-reasoned and substantiated.
The appeal form is available on My RUNI under the Accessibility icon.
Appeals may be submitted through MY RUNI:
A. Select the “Accessibility and Accommodations” icon.
B. The option to fill out an online form will appear, titled: “Request for Personal Accessibility Accommodations in Coursework and Examinations.”
C. Click on “Complete the form.”
D. Be sure to read the instructions page at the top of the form and attach the required medical documentation.
E. When you have finished filling out the form, click “Submit.”
