Pride Club

Who we are!
The Pride Club creates a safe space for LGBTQ+ students and their allies to share what's on their mind, especially in regard to LGBTQ+ issues. The activities revolve around the LGBTQ+ community goals of educating people to raise awareness and compassion around campus.

The importance of our activity in the student period!
Institutions of higher education are a critical step in the formation of the identity of young men and women – studies have proven that the connections that a young man or woman creates with the peer group have a decisive meaning in the formation of their LGBTQ+ identity and in performing a synthesis with their other identities. Therefore, we see the crucial importance of creating a connection between the LGBT identity, the professional identity (the discipline studied) and the civic identity (the social involvement required of every individual in society).

During the meetings, the participants gain a group of belonging and enjoy social activities alongside dealing with various issues, such as proud identity, LGBT rights, leadership, social involvement, gender, women's rights, models for starting a family, communities in Israeli society, and more.

When?

The club meetings will be held every two weeks on Wednesdays at 19:15.
