North Exposure Tour of the MBA programs

In January 2022, Arison School of Business MBA programs conducted an experiential study tour to the north.

The aim of the tour was to gain a better understanding of the various ways to create IMPACT in business and to adapt to the constant changes in the business world.

What did we have?

36 hours, 550 km, 22 students from 4 different MBA programs; Management in the Digital Age, Big Data, Real Estate and Global - all in a small country with an infinity of meaningful initiatives.

Our first meeting was with Ofir Dubovi, founder and owner of Open Valley Caesarea, which specializes in entrepreneurship and innovation through licensing and

learnig complexes. We then met Milena Anash, founder and CEO of Klirskin Ltd., who shared with us her entrepreneurial story about MiBiome, a new and groundbreaking line in dermatology.

The students were exposed to the story of Adverifai of Or Levy's that fights the fake news phenomenon and enables responsible advertising and avoiding offensive content very effectively.

We visited the Hefestus company and met Yehuda and Shachar Yamai who shared with us the renewal of business activity from a traditional industry to creative and groundbreaking solutions in the field of cannabis alongside the strategic changes in the days of Corona.

As part of the tour, we visited Phytolon biotechnology, a company that deals with breakthrough technology in the field of preserving natural food coloring.

Also visited the youth center of Kiryat Shmona in Beit Khan to meet Ofir Yehezkeli and Yarden Ehrlich who showed us entrepreneurship and influence alongside values, a lot of hard work and how vision becomes a reality - in fact - creatively and determinedly.

We visited the northern branch of JVP Margalit Startup City Galil and listened to the strategic plans to build a healthy Ecosystem for the entrepreneurial world in the north.

We signed our visit to Nazareth and were privileged to meet Mrs. Julia Zaher CEO and owner of Tahina al-Erez ALARZ Thini factory who taught us about dealing with challenges, quality, business and doing from the heart with wisdom and courage.

Professor Niron Hashai, dean of the Arison School of Business , summarized the tour by saying: "The tour taught us how important it is to create a supportive entrepreneurial ecosystem outside Hadera-Gedera, to allow diverse populations to participate in the startup nation."
