Reichman University is proud to announce its recognition as one of the top three non-US universities most likely to produce founders of US-based unicorn startups, according to a recent study led by Prof. Ilya Strebulaev, director of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business Venture Capital Initiative.
The study highlights that a US-based venture capital-backed startup whose founder is from Reichman University is 11.3 times more likely than average to achieve unicorn status.
Additional universities recognized in the study include the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, the University of Oxford, Tsinghua University, INSEAD, the University of Cambridge, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Tel Aviv University, and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
The analysis considered only non-US universities with at least 10 unique unicorn founders, resulting in a list of 17 institutions. The findings underscore the significant contributions of Reichman University to the international tech industry, and its pivotal role in the nation’s success as a global tech leader.
