Arison ESG Center (Environmental, Social, and Governance), the first academic-practical center in Israel dedicated to ESG, established with the support of the Ted Arison Family Foundation, is uniquely positioned at the intersection of research, education of the next generation of business leaders, support for decision-makers, and the advancement of corporate adoption of sustainable business practices.
Arison ESG Center seeks to play a central role in promoting responsible business conduct and supporting policies that integrate economic growth with social well-being and environmental sustainability. In this context, the Center aims to lead the academic and practical discourse in Israel on the integration of environmental, climate, social, and corporate governance considerations into the core strategies and operations of businesses. By doing so, it seeks to enhance long-term shareholder value while also strengthening the broader impact of ESG integration on the economy, the environment, and society. The Center works together with students, alumni, and senior executives to shape a sustainable business culture—one that not only avoids harm but also strives to generate positive impact through business strategies.
We believe that education for sustainable development is both essential and urgent. The integration of environmental, social, and governance considerations is rapidly becoming mainstream across the worlds of business, finance, and regulation. Arison ESG Center is committed to advancing this integration through knowledge creation and dissemination, partnerships, and the promotion of open dialogue between academia, the business sector, and regulators.
Arison ESG Center Biannual Activity Report 2023–2025
On the occasion of two years since the establishment of the Arison ESG Center at Reichman University – and as we welcome Rosh Hashanah and the beginning of a new Jewish year – we are proud to share our 2023–2025 activity report. This period was marked by a series of initiatives, research projects, and activities led by the Center to advance ESG in Israel during a challenging and unstable time. The attached biannual report and presentation summarize the Center’s main achievements – from supporting innovative research, strengthening partnerships, and initiating industry- and academia-facing events, to expanding our student internship program and publishing the Center’s weekly blog.
