The IPS hosts a yearly unique strategic briefing tailored for ambassadors and senior diplomats serving in Israel. The briefing focuses on Israel and the Middle East: risks and opportunities; the U.S. administration’s impact on Israel and the region; Israel from within, and strategic issues on the national security and foreign policy agenda. The briefing is delivered by the Head of the Institute, Maj. Gen. Prof. Amos Gilead, and the Institute’s expert researchers in the fields of security and policy. Ambassadors and senior diplomats from over 50 countries take part in the briefing.

 

Furthermore, A Special Breakfast Briefing for Ambassadors and Israeli CEO's with Maj. Gen. (Res.) Prof.  Amos Gilead is held annually as part of the annual Herzliya Conference. The lecture examines the current geopolitical, strategic and  national security status in Israel and the Middle East, with a forward-looking perspective.
