    Chairman and Founder of Nofar Energy Ltd,  Mr. Yannay is also  the Chairman of his philanthropic foundation that supports initiatives in education, healthcare, and the development of underprivileged communities.

  • Avri Schechter

    Director of the Institute, Member of the Board

    An expert in formulating national economic policies on energy, renewables, and GHG emissions reduction. Consultant to government ministries, with vast experience in crafting and implementing strategic national plans.

    Mr. Lior Schillat

    Served as Director General of the Ministry of Energy, and the Jerusalem Institute for Policy Research , Mr. Schillat  is co-editor of the book 'Atidim for Israel: Four Proposals for a New Social-Governmental Order.’

  • Matan Sidi

     Communications and government relations advisor to Mr. Ofer Yannay. Previously, Mr. Sidi was  head of the Communications Division at the PM’s Office. Named to Forbes Israel's 30 Under 30 list in 2022.

  • Dr. Asaf Tzachor

    Co-founder, Academic Director, Member of the Board

    Acting Dean and Vice Dean of the School of Sustainability. Dr. Tzachor is also the founder and academic director of the Aviram Sustainability and Climate Program. His research delves into the sustainable management of natural resources.

  • Dr. Amit Mor

    Co-CEO at ECO ENERGY and senior lecturer at Reichman University. International expert in energy and environmental economics, as well as policies and projects in electricity, natural gas, and oil. Advisor to governments, global corporations, and financial institutions, including the World Bank.

  • Prof. Eytan Sheshinski

    Key figure in Israel’s economic policy, especially energy. Chaired Sheshinski Committees shaping fiscal and natural resource legislation. Former Board Chairman of Netivei Israel and Koor Industries, member of the Privatization Committee, and Director of an international Harvard program.

  • Dr. Noa Roshin-Rimini

    CEO and Founder of the company Grid4C. Dr. Rimini holds a PhD in AI and Machine Learning from the Faculty of Engineering at Tel Aviv University. She has over 20 years of experience in senior management roles at international companies, is an expert in AI-based solutions for the energy sector, and is an active lecturer and consultant in Israel and worldwide.

    Dr. Dan Weinstock

    An expert in the energy sector for renewable energies, natural gas, energy efficiency, smart grid and public transportation. served as the Director of Electricity Administration at Israel's Ministry of Energy and as the Chief Electrical Engineer of Better Place.

  • ברק רשף

    Barak Reshef

    A senior expert for electrical system planning, connecting energy production and storage facilities. Mr. Reshef has  30+ years at IEC, designing the delivery system and preparing the multi-year development plan for the national electricity system. Previously, he was also  VP of Development at Noga-ISO.

    Serves as the Head of the Infrastructure and Energy Sector at Bank Leumi. Has over a decade of experience in financing projects in the fields of energy and national infrastructure. In his role, he leads significant transactions in the Israeli economy, including in the areas of energy and renewable energy

    Zviya Baron

    A seasoned energy innovation professional with 25 years of technology & investment experience and eco-system building. Ms. Baron established and managed the investment & innovation system at Israeli Aerospace Industries and the Israeli Electric Company. Co-founder of the Energy Technical Academy Group.

  • Hila Gutfeld

    Project Manager

    Hila holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Sustainability from Reichman University. She is a graduate of the Aviram Climate and Sustainability Program and the Matanel Seminar, and leads the institute’s initiatives, with focus on the Internship Program.
