I'm interested in broad aspects of cryptography and security, mostly focused on secure multiparty computation (MPC).

 


So far I've worked mostly on efficiency aspects of MPC and especially on minimizing the overhead of compiling semi-honestly secure protocols into maliciously secure ones. 

 


A large portion of my work is devoted to addressing concrete efficiency bottlenecks using theoretical tools: the point where asymptotic analysis may depict a different image from the concrete costs associated with protocols running in a realistic setting (e.g. over the internet) on concrete input.

 


I'm also interested in specific applications of MPC such as federated learning and private inference.
