Reichman University Anthem

t was a wintry day, and all the students and staff had gathered in the original hangar building at the entrance to the campus, once used for car repairs, to formally declare Reichman University’s recognition by the Council for Higher Education. Within a short time, the young dean of the School of Computer Science, Prof. Shimon Schocken, had begun to write the Reichman University anthem, and soon the deans and I were standing on a makeshift stage performing its debut. The hangar was crowded, with no place to move. Emotions rose; many wept. This was the moment that Reichman University became a reality.
