The Untold Story of the holocaust in Eastern Europe

Between 1941 and 1943, between 70,000 and 100,000 people were shot by the Nazis at Babyn Yar, decimating the Jewish population of Kyiv, making Babyn Yar the largest mass grave in Europe. This online seminar will coincide with International Holocaust Remembrance Day as we enter the 80th year since the Babyn Yar massacre. Hosted by The Abba Eban Institute for International Diplomacy at IDC Herzliya, together with The Babyn Yar Holocaust Memorial Center and The Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, the seminar will discuss this pivotal historical event, still unknown to many.
