Anahuac ranks among the top 3 leading private universities in Mexico according to the QS World University Rankings 2023. The university is located on two campuses, the North Campus in Huixquilucan de Degollado and the South Campus in Mexico City. These two campuses were independent institutions until 2016 when they merged to form one university.


Language Requirements: A B2 English level is required in order to take courses in English. All students must apply for a free Spanish test at their arrival to the university and must take a free Spanish course during their semester according to the test results.

 

There is an administrative fee for in-class exchanges which has to be covered by each visiting student the first week of classes to finish the registration process. Prices are updated annually and therefore you should check with Anahuac's Exchange Office for the specific fee.

Anahuac University is part of the Anahuac Universities Network, an international network of Catholic universities which share a mission and an educational model. 

 

The North Campus occupies an area of 220,000 square metres and includes five cafeterias, six auditoriums, one chapel, one exposition center, 175 classrooms, 27 laboratories, 21 workshops, and 18 computer labs.

 


The South Campus is full of green areas and a spectacular panoramic view of Mexico City. It is located south of the city, very close to San Ángel. The campus has state-of-the-art facilities to allow students to develop in the best possible way.

Spanish Proficiency Skills:


If a student does not have a B2 Spanish level, please be aware of the following:

 

  • The student must send Anahuac proof of their Spanish level at the moment of application (even if it is not a B2 level). We accept home university’s letters, language schools letters (in official letterhead), or any official Spanish test. If they don’t have Spanish knowledge at all, then a letter from Reichman University explaining this will be needed.

 

  • We highly recommend for students to take Spanish classes during the months before their exchange - taking any class they can afford, which can be online or in-class.

 

  • The students must take a mandatory Spanish class at Anáhuac México University. This class does not have a cost, gives them 6 academic credits (96 total hours) and we will apply them a test to know the level of the class they will take.

 

  • If the students don’t have a B2 Spanish level, they are only allowed to select classes in English during their stay at the university.
