Copenhagen Business School (CBS) is Denmark’s largest educational and research institution within business administration and economics in a wide sense.

Copenhagen Business School (CBS) was established in 1917 and has around 20,000 full-time and part-time business students. CBS holds the prestigious “triple-crown” accreditation: AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA and emphasizes international research and study. Its strong academic reputation and warm welcome of international exchange students makes this one of the most popular programs among business students.


In 2009, CBS was ranked number three in the world after Harvard and London Business Schools by Eduniversal, which is part of the French consultancy SMBG which ranks the world’s 1,000 best business schools every year.

Accommodation


  • There is a limited amount of housing for incoming exchange students. The CBS Housing Department has access to a number of privately owned dorms. Housing application is made via a link sent by e-mail to all registered exchange students. 
  • In the autumn semester only, the CBS Housing Department facilitates a private housing option as a supplement to dorm accommodation. Private housing is only available in the autumn semester.
  • Public transportation is very good, and some past participants have purchased used bikes upon arrival in Copenhagen for commuting.

Location & Facilities


  • CBS has an urban campus in Frederiksberg, an integrated part of Copenhagen. The four Metro stops on campus makes for easy access to downtown Copenhagen as well as the airport. 
  • Much of the city center is designated as a large pedestrian zone called Strøget, making it a wonderful city for walking.
  • The city is known for its vibrant café culture and the choice of daily transport on your bicycle or via a very efficient public transport system.
  • During the summer, the streets of Copenhagen are filled with sidewalk cafés and the midnight sky is never entirely black.
