The United Nations' World Intellectual Property Organization's website, contains ample resources and information on Intellectual Property and related topics.
The linked page is WIPO's search engine containing 121.5 million patent documents, among them 5.1 million published international patent applications (PCT), updated every few days. Searching is conducted by keywords in different possible fields.
The European Patent Office's website contains resources and information on patent applications, and laws and practices and news and events regarding patents.
The linked page directs to EPO's search engine providing access to many nations' patent offices' databases, and allows search by keywords among over 150 million patent documents from around the world, updated daily. The search engine also provides machine translations of patent documents, tracking the progress of emerging technologies, finding solutions for technical problems, and information collection among competitors. Tutorials, training, and webinars providing guidance on using the search engine are also provided.
Israel Patent Office's search engine allows patent search using keywords, and further sorting by fields. The results can be screened by the applicants, inventors, application status, and other criteria.
Access to current and older, archived issues of Patents Journal is also provided, and searching can be conducted within it as well.
