Company Visit to RUNI Ventures
By David Wilfand, First year student
It was an absolute pleasure to visit Reichman University's very own Venture Capital fund, RUNI Ventures, as part of the Entrepreneurship school's company visit program.
A select group of students were welcomed by the funds team and spent several hours at their Herzliya offices, learning the inner workings of a venture firm.
The day started in the lobby, continued with a short tour of the firm's office and concluded with a short lecture that introduced us to the team and to the VC model of business.

We got to meet the team and ask them questions about their day-to-day work, how they manage deal flow, how they decide what companies to invest in, and ultimately how they provide maximal value to portfolio companies.
Both Tomer Golan and Romi Oppenheim graciously took the time to explain their specific role in the fund, as well as explaining the general investment strategy that a sector agnostic, pre-seed fund employs to generate high returns for limited partners.
Tomer did a deep dive into the various portfolio companies of RUNI and gave an in-depth explanation of what it takes for a tech startup to succeed and generate a return on investment.
He also explained the structure of the fund, the purpose of both General and Limited Partners and how the fund generates a profit over it's life cycle.
Romi spoke at length about the unique methods RUNI employs to create added value for portfolio companies, from industry connections to an active founders club.
It was a wonderful and enriching experience and I would like to thank the wonderful crew at RUNI as well as the Adelson School of Entrepreneurship at Reichman University for making this trip possible
