Everyone Adds “AI” to Their Brand... So We Did Too. But for a Reason.

40 weeks ago, entering our 3rd year of studies, we held our first session of the final project seminar with the guidance of mr. Tomer Ablegon.

I remember thinking – “finally, a whole year for a course to realize my vision with guidance and mentorship”.

We were asked to think big – what inspires us, what is our passion in the entrepunarship world and what impact can we bring to this world.

Two weeks later, it was time to build our team - Barak Radunsky (CMO), Maya Orpaz (CSO), Manuel Nemirovsky (CTO) and Gilad Amir (CEO) - Four people, each comes from a different background, bringing different aspects of the entroupunarship world.

This was the beginning of BewareAI – a cyber security SaaS.

our team kicked off the capstone project with a familiar ritual: brainstorming. Then re-brainstorming. Then debating. Eventually, we aligned on one mission - build something meaningful, relevant, and rooted in the fast-changing world of AI.

That’s how BeWareAI was born.

We weren’t looking to slap “AI” onto a random idea. We saw a real problem: employees unknowingly leaking sensitive data - like customer info, credit cards, or internal IP - into ChatGPT, Copilot, and other LLM tools.

So we built a browser-based security layer that steps in before the damage is done. If a prompt includes PII or confidential information, BeWareAI detects it before it ever reaches the cloud.

But we didn’t stop at detection and blocking. We talked to dozens of people in the industry and kept asking: What gives us the edge? What’s our alpha?

The answer: content reduction. While other tools simply block prompts, BeWareAI intelligently strips out just the sensitive data, preserving the user’s intent - so employees can stay productive without risking security.

This insight helped us understand how identifying a niche improvement can set a venture apart in a competitive space. This wasn’t just a concept on slides.

We built the product with long nights of core codin - also making this software manageable for executives, including the CISO’s Portal, where they can monitor every PII prompt that employees try to send.

We juggled everything - Throughout the year, we dealt with complexity theory course, to

real life complexity of managing exams, milluim service, and final project. But we stayed committed.

We weren’t just students this year - we were builders, problem-solvers, and founders.

Winning first prize at the Adelson School of Entrepreneurship wasn’t just exciting - it was validation. Validation that we’re solving something real. That we’re building something that matters.

BeWareAI has more to grow, more to prove, and a future we're excited to shape.
