Important Information 

• All Reichman University students are required to have comprehensive health insurance coverage throughout the duration of their studies. Reichman University cannot cover medical costs or take responsibility for students who do not have insurance.
• Students may purchase their own health insurance policy to cover their medical needs while in Israel or purchase the UMS HAREL YEDIDIM insurance policy for international students, offered by Reichman University (RUNI).
• Israeli residents are covered by Israel’s National Health Insurance (Bituach Leumi), they do not need any additional health insurance.
• The university insurance plan with HAREL YEDIDIM provides comprehensive health coverage for 4,970 NIS* per academic year, or 2,485 NIS* per semester, which will be charged at the beginning of the year/semester.
• In order to have continuous coverage the policy is automatically renewed from one academic year to the next, until the scheduled end of the program, unless the student notifies the school in writing that they wish to cancel.
• For students participating in preparatory courses during the summer there will be an earlier start date of the policy and an additional charge of 700 NIS*.
