Students who have at least one Israeli parent

Contact the nearest Israeli Consulate to check your Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) status, and to obtain an Israeli passport (instead of a student visa) in order to enter and stay in Israel.

Children of Israeli citizens, who were raised abroad, should request a status of “child of emigrants” (b’nei mehagrim) from the local Israel Consulate, and may be eligible for a special status from the IDF allowing them to study here for BA or MA degree without army service.
