Paamonim is a nationwide volunteer organization dedicated to strengthening the financial resilience of families and young adults in Israel through personal guidance, training, workshops, and financial education.

 

The Paamonim student network operates on campuses to train students to lead financial counseling and education processes for young adults. We believe that acquiring the right tools at the beginning of adult life can positively impact financial behavior and decision-making for years to come

 

As part of volunteering at the branch, students undergo comprehensive professional training and receive practical tools for working with young adults on financial matters. Volunteering in the organization grants academic credit.

 


You can take part in volunteering through one of two tracks:

 

  • Personalized Guidance Track for Young Adults: Volunteers assist young adults in understanding their financial situation, setting goals, building a budget, and developing proper financial habits. No prior financial knowledge is required for this track - full training is provided by Paamonim.

 

  • Financial Education Workshops and Lectures Track: Volunteers deliver content and trainings that provide young adults with tools for proper economic conduct. This track is intended for students with prior financial knowledge and some experience in instruction or training.

 

Throughout the year, volunteers receive close guidance from a team leader and participate in ongoing training and enrichment sessions. The volunteering commitment is approximately 4 hours per week on average, with flexible hours. To apply for the program, candidates must attend one of the explanatory sessions.
