On Tuesday, 27.12.2022 the Women's Alumni Forum hosted a BRAINTALKS event, in which approximately 150 alumni from various fields participated in a round table format discussion based on common interests, in order to create connections and partnerships between the participants.

After catching up with friends from their respective degrees, the women enjoyed a fascinating lecture by Altshuler Shaham LTD CEO of Altshuler Shaham Provident Funds and Pension, Anat Knafo-Tavor on “How to Take Ownership of your Savings” – a topic that was in high demand.

Afterwards, the graduates split into discussion tables based on topics that interested them and were chosen ahead of time. They discussed investments and economics, breaking the glass ceiling, the balance between motherhood, relationships and their careers, the connection between actions and their meanings and more. Additionally, they chose the first step each was going to implement into their lives based on their discussions.
In the next part, they received light touch ups and were photographed for professional photos by professional photographers.

Ofri Damari, Psychology Graduate, today a social entrepreneur and clinical psychologist, who attended the event said: “The BRAINTALKS event was insightful and valuable, as it gave a platform for open dialogue, inspiration, and sharing in the fields we encounter each day.”

Mye Elnir, a Forum Leadership Member and Graduate of the Psychology and Government Dual Major, today an associate in the Litigation Department of S. Horowitz and Co. said: “To me, the event was an empowering and uplifting reminder of what impressive, successful, ambitious, intellectual, diverse and daring women surround me. The openness, dedication, and lightness of the conversation that this evening allowed for was both moving and inspiring. As an entrepreneurial psychologist, I personally learned about our ability to change our outlook through simple facial expressions that can release stress and promote positive thoughts and behaviors. I’ve already started using them!”

"We were thrilled to see our alumni talking excitedly, exchanging contact details, enjoying the touch-up stations, taking professional pictures, and finally, raising a toast to the discussions and new connections formed throughout the evening, but most of all, we loved seeing the potential these meetings have in the future", said Gili Dinstein, CEO of the Alumni association. She also thanked the partners for the evening: Altshuler Shaham LTD, IL Makiage Beauty I.L LTD, Bumble, Zion Briga and Sons Real Estate LTD, and Recanati Winery LTD.
