About Dr. Boaz Zik’s Research
Dr. Boaz Zik is a researcher in economic theory whose work focuses on information economics and mechanism design. His research examines how rules and processes can be designed to ensure that markets and economic systems operate efficiently and fairly, even when differentparties hold private information unknown to others.
As part of his work, Dr. Zik analyzes, among other things, how tests, screening processes, or certification mechanisms can reveal important information; how agents choose which signals to send to their environment; and how mechanisms can be constructed to achieve desirable outcomes even in the presence of information asymmetries or differing social preferences.
Dr. Zik’s insights deepen our understanding of how information is revealed and transmitted in markets and help design more effective economic institutions and rules, both in theory and in practice.
