This year’s recipients are Amb. Ronald Lauder, Edan Kleiman, Erin Molan, Yehuda Fox, Zvi Limon, Moshe Fadlon, and Daphna Cramer.
On June 12, 2025, Reichman University will confer honorary doctorates upon individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the State of Israel, the Jewish people, and Reichman University. This year’s honorees are:
Edan Kleiman, chairman of the IDF Disabled Veterans Organization and a Reichman University alumnus, in recognition of his longstanding dedication to the empowerment, rehabilitation, and integration of disabled IDF veterans into Israeli society; for his deep commitment to the State of Israel, its values, and the heroes who have paid a heavy price to protect us all; for serving as a source of inspiration and living example of the triumph of the human spirit and its ability to overcome any challenge; and for his partnership with Reichman University in establishing educational programs to support the empowerment and rehabilitation of wounded IDF soldiers.
Erin Molan, a prominent Australian media personality, in recognition of her courageous and unwavering support for the State of Israel and the Jewish people; her resolute stance against antisemitism and terrorism; for giving voice to Israel’s cause on the international stage with clarity, conviction, and moral courage; and in appreciation of her deep commitment to truth, human dignity, and justice.
Maj. Gen. (res.) Yehuda Fox, an esteemed IDF combat soldier and commander and a Reichman University alumnus, in recognition of his decades-long dedication to safeguarding the State of Israel and its citizens as a commander and a fighter; with deep appreciation for his strategic role in strengthening national resilience; and in honor of his embodiment of courage, integrity, statesmanship, and the core mission and values of the Israel Defense Forces.
Zvi Limon, entrepreneur, businessman and philanthropist, in recognition of his exemplary integration of global business leadership with a deep commitment to giving and serving Israeli society; for his dedication to advancing underrepresented populations through education and the instilling of values; and with deep appreciation for his continued support of Reichman University.
Moshe Fadlon, former mayor of Herzliya, in recognition of his lifelong dedication to the Israeli public, both in uniform and in municipal leadership; in appreciation of his contributions to Herzliya’s growth as a leading city across multiple domains; and in gratitude for his steadfast and committed support of Reichman University.
Daphna Cramer, Zionist philanthropist, in appreciation of her steadfast commitment to Israeli society; in recognition of her extensive public service and generosity; and with gratitude for her enduring friendship with Reichman University and the meaningful support she and her late husband, Gerry, z”l, have provided in advancing its development.
Amb. Ronald Lauder, president of the World Jewish Congress, received the honorary doctorate in a separate ceremony held at the university on May 20, 2025.
The honorary degrees will be conferred by Prof. Uriel Reichman, founding president and chairman of the Board of Directors of Reichman University, Prof. Boaz Ganor, university president, and Oudi Recanati, university chancellor.
