Earlier this week, Reichman University’s Arison School of Business held its annual gala event — an evening dedicated to bridging academia with the worlds of entrepreneurship and business innovation. The event featured a special guest: Sean Rad, founder of the app Tinder. Rad spoke to the students about entrepreneurship and success in an era in which artificial intelligence, social media, and technological trends are rapidly redefining innovation and the creation of startups.
Rad’s visit was made possible thanks to Shir Dayan, a second-year student of business administration and entrepreneurship, who connected with him through her internship program.
Tinder founder Sean Rad offered students a piece of advice: “I encourage students to prioritize Founder-Market-Fit over Product-Market Fit. You can’t build a successful product without a team that deeply connects to the market and the company you're building.”
Dean of the Arison School of Business, Prof. Niron Hashai, said: “We are delighted to have the privilege of hosting one of the world’s most successful entrepreneurs on our campus and for the opportunity for our students to hear his insights into what it takes to launch and grow successful startups in an era where AI and social media are becoming increasingly integrated.”
