In the 25th year of IDC Herzliya (Reichman University), we sat down with our partners to hear from them how it all began.

Oudi Recanati is a full partner in the incredible achievements of IDC Herzliya (Reichman University). Thanks to his vision and that of Prof. Uriel Reichman, the Raphael Recanati International School, named after his father, z”l, was established in 2001 with the aim of deepening the connection between Diaspora Jewry and the State of Israel. It was during those days that the Second Intifada broke out, and the future of this important Zionist initiative was cast into doubt. Today, about 2000 international students hailing from 90 countries are pursuing full bachelor's degrees in English at IDC, with 70% of them making aliyah upon completing their studies. "Of all my philanthropic activities, I am the most proud of what I have achieved at IDC Herzliya (Reichman University)," says Recanati.
