ClicKita

App strengthening classroom belonging through play.

What is it?

ClicKita is an app that helps teachers strengthen social connections and foster a sense of belonging through short, playful classroom activities. Teachers launch a simple question, collect students' responses in real time, and automatically create groups based on shared interests, encouraging new interactions between students who would not normally connect. By combining social activities with classroom insights, ClicKita helps teachers proactively reduce social isolation, break fixed social circles, and build a more inclusive classroom environment.

How does it work?

Teachers begin by selecting or creating a four-option question related to the lesson or a general topic, with the option to add a short follow-up activity. Students answer the question on their phones, and the app groups together students who selected the same answer. When multiple groups can be formed within the same response, the system either creates new social connections by pairing students who have not previously worked together or assigns groups randomly, according to the teacher's preference. Each group then completes the follow-up activity.

Over time, ClicKita tracks the connections formed through these activities, providing teachers with visual insights into classroom relationships and each student's growing social network. The teacher can use this information to facilitate reflective discussions with the entire class or to support students on a more personal level, helping teachers build a more connected and inclusive classroom.

ClicKita combines a short and enjoyable activity with a meaningful tool for strengthening the classroom’s social climate and students’ sense of belonging.
