The Bridge

ICBT platform empowering school counselors.

What is it?

The Bridge is an ICBT-based digital platform designed for school counselors, helping them support students who struggle with social loneliness, difficulties forming connections, and low self-confidence within the school environment. By extending therapeutic support beyond counseling sessions, the platform enables counselors to monitor progress continuously, personalize interventions, and reduce their administrative workload.

Adolescence is a critical period for developing a sense of belonging, yet many students struggle to build meaningful social connections. Because school counselors often have limited time and large caseloads, maintaining consistent support between sessions is challenging. The Bridge addresses this gap by encouraging students to take small, achievable social steps while providing counselors with continuous insight into their progress.

Students' Website

How does it work?

Counselors create personalized weekly social tasks tailored to each student's needs and gradually increase their difficulty based on the progress. The students choose to accept the task through the app and when they complete the chosen task they reflect on their experience through a short guided reflection process that explores the emotions, thoughts, and feelings that arose during the interaction. A dedicated digital dashboard on the counselors side centralizes each student's progress, completed tasks, and reflections in real time, while AI-powered insights help counselors identify behavioral patterns and refine their interventions. In their next meeting the counselor and the student can reflect on the previous week and plan ahead.
