This cluster examines the transformative role of data, artificial intelligence, and digital technologies in shaping security, governance, and global affairs.

The courses combine conceptual frameworks with practical skills, enabling students to both understand and respond to the opportunities and challenges posed by emerging technologies in contemporary society.

Students explore the use of technology in violent conflict and analyze how states and institutions counter cyber threats. They engage with the ethical, regulatory, and strategic debates surrounding AI at both national and international levels, while also gaining a deeper appreciation of the infrastructures and mechanisms that comprise the digital domain.
