Counsellor Coordinator: Coral Vaknin

Coral Vaknin, 24 years old, is originally from Houston, Texas, and currently lives in Herzliya. She is a fourth-year student in the double-degree program in Law (LL.B) and Government (M.A.) at Reichman University. Before beginning her studies, Coral served as a course commander in the Israeli Air Force, where she trained and led soldiers from diverse backgrounds. Coral is passionate about volunteering, mentorship, and community building. She currently works at the Israeli Foreign Ministry as a student intern in the Global Consular Assistance Center of the Consular Division. At Reichman University, she has taken part in the Rabin Leadership Program, the International Criminal and Humanitarian Law Clinic, and served as a mentor at the English Writing Center. These programs have allowed her to combine her academic studies with hands-on leadership and real-world impact. Outside of campus, Coral enjoys playing volleyball and is deeply involved in social impact projects, from organizing rallies for Israel abroad to developing intergenerational community initiatives. She chose to be a counselor because she knows how meaningful it is to have guidance during times of transition, and she wants to help new students feel supported as they navigate their first steps at Reichman.
